BIRD by Laura Lomas

In association with Derby Theatre

It’s 4 in the morning and Leah Bird is alone in a flat in Derby waiting for her boyfriend to call. Over the course of a single night she tells us what it’s like to be fourteen, fearless and full of love. But everything isn’t what it seems, and as the sun comes up, Leah begins to unpick the true nature of her relationship with Ali.

Following a pilot tour in 2013 at Derby Playhouse, Nottingham Contemporary and the National Theatre Studio, Bird toured to  Hackney Showroom, Live Theatre Newcastle, Birmingham Rep, Nottingham Playhouse, Bolton Octagon.
