SCRIPT CLUB IN PARTNERSHIP WITH HULL UK CITY OF CULTURE AND BOUNDLESS THEATRE PRESENTS
Supported by Arts Council England and Hull City Council
DRIP: a new one-man musical comedy, book and lyrics by Tom Wells, music by Matthew Robins
Directed by Jane Fallowfield
Performed by Andrew Finnigan
Liam is 15. He can’t swim. But he’s an optimist, so he’s signed up for Bev Road Baths’ first ever synchronised swimming team.
Research and development supported by the National Theatre Studio.
Stuff you should know:
Liam gets his guitar.
Um, it’s a musical.
Four more things:
One. You’ll notice as we go along a bit, this project’s just a thing that I have written in my room.
Don’t expect much.
Two. I haven’t got the hang of the guitar yet, it’s just a work-in-progress, I’ll mess up all the chords.
You know, like life.
Three. The characters are all just real people, I haven’t changed the names at all.
Four. I don’t mind losing, just thought I’d have a go.
